Course Description
Blended Learning (online part followed by hands on session) uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, animations, self-directed learning, team dynamics training, megacode cases, and interactive activities to teach students ACLS knowledge and skills.
HeartCode ACLS is the AHA’s ACLS blended learning delivery method. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session.
Complete the(online part followed by hands on session) with an AHA Instructor, or with a Simulation Station
Course Requirements
– To enter the course, students must complete the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment.
- Cases may be repeated as many times as necessary to pass. Upon successful completion of all parts, students must pass the multiple-choice exam with a minimum score of 84%.
- Upon successful completion of the online portion, students receive a certificate of completion, which they must present for entry into an Instructor-led hands-on skills session.
