Couse Description: One full day instructor led course designed to prepare future instructor candidates to teach BLS provider classroom course in accordance with SHA guidelines.
Course Objectives
At the end of the instructor course, instructor candidate will be able to:
■ Be familiar with SHA mission, vision, values and procedures
■ Demonstrate basic life support (BLS) skills to the proficient level.
■ Be familiar with BLS course paperwork, and testing checklists.
■ Plays the instructor role while conducting skills and testing session
■ Demonstrate different types of feedback and debriefing
■ Utilize course materials and training equipment effectively.
