Upon successful completion of this course, students
will be able to:
• Respiratory System Understanding: Students will
demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of
the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory
system, including its functions, structures, and
mechanisms involved in respiration.
• Respiratory Pathophysiology: Students will be
able to identify, explain, and differentiate various
respiratory diseases and disorders, understanding
their etiology, symptoms, and their impact on
patient health.

• Diagnostic Proficiency: Students will acquire the
ability to apply and interpret a range of
diagnostic procedures used in respiratory care,
such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood
gas analysis, and chest imaging.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Students will
demonstrate knowledge of various therapeutic
interventions and treatments in respiratory care,
including oxygen therapy, airway management,
and mechanical ventilation.
