Course Description: One full-day instructor-led course designed to prepare future instructor
candidates to teach ACLS provider classroom courses in accordance with SHA guidelines.
Course Objectives
At the end of the instructor course, the instructor candidate will be able to:
■ Be familiar with SHA's mission, vision, values, policy, and procedures
■ Be familiar with ACLS course paperwork, equipment, practice, and testing checklists.
■ Play the role of the instructor when conducting skill stations, simulation-based practice, and
testing scenarios.
■ Demonstrate different types of feedback, remediation, and debriefing
