Couse Description: The Saudi Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Saudi PALS) Provider Course is for healthcare intended professionals who work with severely sick children who are experiencing respiratory and/or cardiovascular problems, as well as cardiopulmonary arrest. To improve recognition and intervention for respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest, precourse preparation, didactic lectures, and active participation in skill stations and simulated cases will be used.
Course Objectives 
 
After finishing this course, you should be able to:
• Recognize cardiac arrest and start high-quality CPR as soon as possible, according to Saudi Heart Association (SHA) basic life support (BLS) guidelines.

SHA HSFA CPR AED COURSE


The Saudi Heart Association HeartSaver First Aid/ AED course, a full day course (6 hours) incorporates the recent guidelines and updates. 
 
Its teaches and trains the participants how to recognize and treat a variety of first aid emergencies such as fractures, wounds, External /Internal Bleeding, burns, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims in different age groups.
 
Also the participants will train how to demonstrate cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
 
Learning objectives
This manual aims to provide the target participants the knowledge and skills as following: 
  • Understand the basic principles of HeartSaver First Aid/ AED

The Saudi Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (SALSO) Provider Course


Course Description: The SALSO Blended course is a combination of e-learning, in which a student completes Part 1 of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by Part 2 where an authorized SHA SALSO instructor leads a hands-on skills session.
 
The Saudi Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (SALSO) course is designed for professional healthcare providers who directly care for obstetric patients in various settings and may be required to respond to maternal emergencies.
Course Length: The time needed to complete Part One; the online portion of SALSO can vary depending on the student’s level of Knowledge and experience.
