Course Description: SALSO instructor course designed to prepare future instructor candidates to teach SALSO provider classroom course in accordance with SALSO instructor manual.

Target audience & pre-course requirements: Any healthcare professional providing obstetrical care with a Valid Provider card (gained within 1 year) is eligible to become an SALSO Instructor. The SBLSO course is a hands-on program with a minimum duration of 8 hours, not including
breaks.

The target audience covers all professional healthcare providers who handle obstetric emergencies, including Physicians, Nurses, Midwives, Residents, Physician Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, and EMS personnel.
